We have been serving our clients since 1994. Most of the team of sitters have been with Society Pet Sitter, Inc. up to 10 years. We run thorough background checks on every sitter and interview each one before they are hired. We are bonded and insured as well.
In this profession, you have to have a passion for animals. I personally have had that all of my life. Now in my career, what I love the most is knowing that we are helping out each pet owner in his/her daily life. We have several doctors who we pet sit for. When they are called in to do a heart transplant at 3:00 a.m. and send a text asking for us to do a breakfast visit for their pets, we are able to jump in and ensure their babies are taken care of. It's more than just a job; it feels like we're giving back.

The petsitting is scheduled in july but i met the sitters and was very pleased with them. I feel very confident my cats will be well taken care of while im gone. The whole process was very smooth. I would highly recommend their services. It gives me peace of mind.

Morgan was great! She not only fed our cats but sent pictures every day of her interactions with them. She also brought our mail into our home. Overall, this was the best pet-sitting we have ever experienced! We definitely will hire Society Pet Sitter, Inc., again!

Best PetSitting service I have used in many years and I have used multiple in different states over the last few years... Caroline (our sitter) is simply magnificent.. She is just AWESOME !!! She is on-time, gives me regular updates with pictures of my pups - Couldn't ask for more. My dogs seem to be loving it, as they are always energized and happy and positive when I come home

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our standard 30 minute visit is $26.00 for up to two pets. Each additional pet is $3.00. We also offer 45 & 60 minute visits, as well as a service called Pet Nanny (a minimum of two hours).
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We set up an initial meet and greet so that the client can meet their sitter team and show them their pet's routine. We assign a primary and back-up sitters, just in case the primary is out for any reason, the client has already met the back-up and can step right in to take care of their fur babies.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I first started this business there were only 3 pet sitting companies in Dallas. No one had even heard of pet sitting. I was working at a local veterinarian as a tech. Some of the dogs and cats did okay in the kennel situation. Most did not. The most that did not really should have been at home.
