Hi! My name is Cecilia Hernandez Elder and I have been a professional photographer for over 5 years. I have experience shooting weddings, family lifestyle, graduation portraits, individual portraits, corporate events, product photography, and much more! I love working with my clients to make sure they love their photographs and have an amazing time. :) I deliver quality work on time (generally 4-5 business days after) but have the ability to delivery photos sooner if needed! I deliver edited photos via a digital gallery for you to enjoy, download, print, share with loved ones, etc. I look forward to working with you! Please reach out with any questions. About Me: I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas but I started my photography business in 2017, in my second home, New York City! Starting my photography business in NYC meant that I was able to gain a good amount of range as a photographer shooting everything from incredible Manhattan weddings, corporate events, product photography for some pretty cool businesses, fashion/editorial, street photography, and sooo much more! Recently my husband and I moved back to Dallas, TX to be closer to home and to start planting roots for our family to come! Luckily, I have been able to transition my photography business to Texas, and I have loved every moment of it. A little about my love for photography…. I come from a long line of creatives and entrepreneurs (my grandfather alone was a musician, who played just about every instrument, a painter, and an educator). I personally fell in love with photography when I was in high school and have carried that love with me for over 15 years now. I love being able to capture the candid moments of life and timeless curated moments for my clients to cherish and pass on to their loved ones. To this day I love going to my mom’s house, opening old photo albums, and reminiscing on all the incredible family memories. I feel so incredibly honored to be able to capture these same memories for my clients, whether they are celebrating weddings, life milestones, or incredible business endeavors. Cecilive was OUTSTANDING!! She was incredibly responsive on Thumbtack, and then continued to stay in communication once we were booked and finished with the entire process. She made herself available for a last minute idea to capture a butterfly release to celebrate my Great Grandmother’s life. The night before our event, she was working a wedding! So taking on our request was purely selfless considering she had a late professional evening the night before as well. She was early/on time-communicated being early too, patient organizing family photos and our butterfly release before and after. She presented herself professionally with grace and sentiment to our family’s mourning. And best of all, the pictures came out beautifully!!!! They also were sent to us within 4-5 days, which is very quick for a busy photographer. You can tell that Cecilive loves what she does! I look forward to working with her again.

Cecilia was, simply put, fantastic! This was my first time reaching out to someone for a photo event and, being a guy, I didn't know how the meet-up and event were supposed to go. I worked with Cecilia for proposal photography, and she communicated with me throughout the entire process alleviating much of my worry. It was great that she was familiar with the location, and she picked out some good spots for us to take more photos at as well. The quality of the pictures is crystal-clear, which makes a world of difference, because all I'm used to is the quality that I have from my phone. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Portrait sessions start at $350. Inquire for commercial/editorial, wedding and event packages.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. You contact me via Thumbtack, email, text, call, facetime, etc. to arrange session details. 2. I email you a brief contract to review and sign 3. You pay 50% deposit to hold the date. 4. The day of the session the remaining 50% is due. 5. You guys have a fantastic session/event and we capture all the special moments. 6. 5-7 days later you receive the edited gallery via email to share with family and friends!
