I can not say enough about how Dan and Align Architecture. Our project cruised thru the approval process with the City of Dallas. The detail that was on the plans made it easy for the contractor to price and install per the specs. Dan really listened to the wants and needs of our house and made sure all details were buttoned up. I would 1000% work with Dan again on any project that I have coming.

I worked with Dan on several projects over the years. He is not only superb on the architectural side; he also has a calmness that is reassuring to the clients during the stress of planning and construction.I consulted with Dan on a personal project that required researching historic district building codes. Dan worked out the problem quickly and answered our questions about the project's possibilities. When we proceed with our project, I will hire Dan to complete the design documents. I happily refer Dan to my clients and friends.

We built a modern, complicated home and Dan led us through every detail. The entire experience working with Dan from concept through final punch list was outstanding. It's a multi-year process to design and build a new house, and I can't give enough accolades to how much I appreciated working with Dan. He had great design ideas - both large scale and small. He was able to translate what I wanted into both the design and the production of the architectural specifications and drawings required to construct that vision. His attention to detail was incredible - from catching things in the field and on shop drawings and construction management review of builder's draws. Dan is professional and personable. And also practical - when materials required a design alteration he was able to come up with solutions that had the same look and feel.It's rare to find all the qualities in one architect - big picture design, listens to client to create the house they want, attention to detail, practical, calm, works collaboratively with builder, with subcontractors, with other design professionals, and always nice to work with. Any time I had a concern about anything, Dan was there to talk through it and help solve it.Throughout the hundreds of decisions that needed to be made, we were always on the same wavelength.I am incredibly fortunate to have had Dan as my architect for our house.
