Devin was more than anything my husband and I could’ve asked for. He not only helped us in a time of need (Covid, new responsibilities, and planning a wedding) but he also made our day one that we could never forget. Every day for the last 2 years I have started a conversation with “what would Devin tell me to do”. Those words haven’t only saved my relationship but they have also made me a person to be proud of. If you are some one who tends to have a hard time seeing the wrongs or admitting your failures, this company is the perfect one for you. We had some extremely hard days leading up to our destination wedding but with a pastor like Devin I couldn’t have done it without him. The whole weekend he was there supporting us and keeping our heads straight. Devin takes the pressure out of things and just makes you love being with the person who makes you whole. I wouldn’t have picked anyone else to officiate our wedding but also someone who has guided us on our next steps in life. If you’re wondering who you should take the leap of faith with and if you’re worried about it being online, put all those worries aside with Devin. There’s nothing he and his wife can’t do and I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend having them with you through this journey!

Tanya and I have been married for over 30 years. In that time, we have given birth to 3 and raised 4 ( my wife's nephew) beautiful young men and woman who are all productive members in society, and one college student. The majority of our married lives was spent pouring into our children, making sure their needs were taken care of educational, spiritually and socially. Now that most are grown and we are near empty-nesters, Tanya and I reached a point where we did not recognize each other. We spent so much time pouring into our children, we lost track of who we are as married couple. My wife found Pastor Devin Miller and his wife Candice at the right time in our marriage. We were on the brink of separation. Our sessions with CFC Counseling Services forced us to look at who we are to each other now, without the kids. We have grown closer together now than we've been in years. Tanya and I have started taking weekend getaways again, and really rediscovering who we are as a married couple again. Tanya and I are in a good place thanks to Pastor Devin, Ms. Candice and CFC Counseling, Consulting ,Coaching Services. We highly recommend them.

They were nice enough however I came in for couples counseling with my fiancé at the time. We were having issues with our relationship that was apparent to several counselors prior he did not want to go to because they were women or other reason. So when we saw this counselor ideally it was a match for my fiancé. However shortly after beginning counseling my fiancé would not complete his weekly assignments and started fights. Our fights were explosive and we were considering breaking up and living separately. The counselor suggested signing a year lease. This was after mentioning my fiancé was not financially stable, was starting fights, and appeared to be jealous of me in areas. After signing the lease he stopped counseling and began being very verbally and emotionally abusive. Almost a year later and coming to the end of the lease we are still broken up but stuck on a lease. He has not paid his rent in three months and I am having to potentially sue him so I do not incur financial hardships more than I have already by locking in to a year lease with someone that was showing many signs of being financially unstable and co dependent. I just feel like as a counselor you must look out for the best interest of both clients when people come in for help on future steps they should make with their life. I had no growth this year and suffered so much mental and emotional abuse that was not necessary had I been guided in a different direction. Like I said very nice I appreciate having a space to speak at the time. I just needed better direction. I feel very trapped now and will have to pick up so many pieces on my own now after this basically set back almost a year. We did stop counseling shortly after move and it was due to the abuse I faced inside the home behind closed doors who has the strength to pay for more advice when the advice you got put you in a bad space.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Counseling services(general)- $80/hr Cancellation fee - $75 (24-hour notice required to avoid cancellation fee. )
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We have a two hour initial session to set the series of counselling sessions unique to the individual or couple. We then hold those sessions with the final session being a moment of sharing between the couple what came out of the individual sessions. Our final session is an evaluation of the experience.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
B.S. - Business Management, University of Minnesota-Twin Cities M.Div - Grace Theological Seminary and Institute Masters in Christian Leadership- Grand Canyon University
