- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initial Consultation: The first step in working with a new customer is to schedule an initial consultation. (if needed otherwise we skip to the proposal step) This can be done over the phone or in person, depending on the customer's preferences. During this consultation, I will discuss with the customer their need and preferences, as well as their budget and timeline for the project. Site Visit: If necessary, We will schedule a site visit to the customer's home to assess the space and ensure that the proposed smart home system will work properly. This will also give us the opportunity to make any necessary recommendations or modifications to the proposed system based on the layout and features of the home. Proposal: Once we have gathered all the necessary information, created a proposal for the customer that outlines the proposed system, its features, and the associated costs. We make sure to provide a clear breakdown of the costs and any additional fees, as well as a timeline for the project. Agreement: Once the customer approves the proposal, create a formal agreement that outlines the scope of the project, the timeline, and the payment terms. Installation: We begin the installation process according to the agreed-upon timeline. We make sure to keep the customer updated on the progress of the project and address any concerns or questions they may have throughout the installation process. Testing and Training: Once the system is installed, we test all features to ensure they work properly. Then, we provide the customer with training on how to use the system and any associated apps or software. Follow-Up: After the installation is complete, we follow up with the customer to ensure that they are satisfied with the system and address any additional concerns or questions they may have.
