Jeffrey was available last minute as our party plans changed to indoors because of rain. He kept all of the kids and parents entertained! His magic show was fun and interactive and his balloon creations were creative and unique. We hope to hire him again!

Mrs. Sparkles provided amazing balloon art at our Easter Carnival. She did an amazing job and the kids and parents loved her. Robert, showed up promptly and delivered an enthusiastic performance for a large family birthday celebration. He tailored his magic and jokes to the audience which ranged in age 3 years old to 89 years old bringing laughs and smiles for all. We had Andrew come to our holiday party to entertain our team. I had never seen a magician before this, but my boss was a huge fan, so I found Andrew on thumbtack. He was AMAZING! He performed a set for our group but managed to include everyone at the party and had tons of awesome tricks. He meshed so well with our group, he was basically a party guest...only cooler! We'll definitely use him again for any other parties/events.

I hired Carlos for my son's 7th birthday party and had nothing but a positive experience with him. First off, he showed up even earlier than expected to set up and was interactive with the kids before the show started. The magic tricks entertained both kids and adults and I had so many parents commenting on what a wonderful show it was. I would highly recommend Magic by Carlos and if I am ever looking for a magician again in the future, I will be going back to him!

Based on cheek painting estimate provided (2-5) minutes per kid, i booked for 2 hours and also added balloon twisting (due to we supposed have spare time) as another option with extra charge. She was very slow and keep entertaining kids after 2 hours. I ended paying for 1 extra hour. I was keep asking her to close the counter but she continued for extra hour. Awkward moments were created. I would not recommend to my friends or family.

Wow! What a great show! Robert was excellent- he was entertaining, funny and his tricks were truly amazing! We hired Robert for our son's 2nd birthday party. He captured all the kids attention and had the adults scratching their heads trying to figure out how in the world he did some of his tricks! Everyone- parents and kids- loved the show! Robert is a true talent! One guest told me that this was the most special party he's ever attended - as a host, those are the best words you can hear! We can't thank Robert enough for helping make our son's birthday a smooth, easy and INCREDIBLE experience!

I booked Brad for one hour for my child’s 5th birthday party based on high Thumbtack ratings. He confirmed his experience with kids parties, but my expectations were not met. I will not return.
Brad confirmed the booking a few days before the date, arrived and started on time. Booking was mostly seamless except his initial reluctance to receive the first half of money via Thumbtack.
The show itself lasted about 30min after which there was supposed to be an ‘informal show’ with him doing magic with smaller groups or one-on-one. However, he actively directed children away from him to have a drink and snack (never mind they were going to eat immediately after his show). With kids eating and drinking, he, of course, wasn’t doing anything but the clock was running at $250/hr. He had no interest in engaging with the kids, didn’t approach any kid, didn’t offer any more magic to the birthday kid or anyone else. Instead he passively waited for the kids to come to him and request more ‘magic’ , which was only card tricks. It looked like he didn’t want to entertain anyone after the first 30min and wanted to pass time until the end of his booked time.
The show itself was appropriate for the age group, perhaps even too slow. A Jane Fonda, and a few sexual jokes were a poor fit for a kids party.
He asked audience for money for a trick, chose someone’s $20 bill, made them right on it with a permanent marker while joking about committing a crime and going to jail in front of the children. The ink was real, no magic trick to remove it and the money was ruined. He could have done with with a $1 bill that was available but he chose not to.
