- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for a pool guy that is on his own, and has plenty of both cleaning and repairs experience. It will save you the headaches and so much money! Large pool company’s have high turnover rates, which means they have little time to train before they send a technician to your pool. It typically ends up with your pool looking awful. Likewise, many solo pool guys either have little experience in cleaning and are learning on the fly, or they have the cleaning experience but have no repairs knowledge. This leads to them not knowing when there is an issue with the equipment, allowing the situation to worsen costing you more money, or they have to refer you out to somebody who does have repairs knowledge, in which you’re charged for a diagnostic visit, and they don’t make the repair until a week or more has passed.
