Having a really hard time getting him to finish the job that he said would take a week (it’s been over a month). Paid upfront for materials and he keeps no-showing. Work is fine but it’s a bit frustrating

Mario is not reliable. I would not recommend this contractor. I hired Mario to complete 3 wall design projects. He told me that the job would take three days and we are on week 3. I had to let him go because he was not showing up until after 1pm and only working a few hours and there were several days he just didn’t show up at all. Very unprofessional! Also, I am glad I didn’t pay him upfront like he requested. However, I did give him two cash advances on week 1 and week 2. Big mistake on my part! BEWARE of this contractor.

The good: Mario reached out right away and was able to go assess my property and needs almost immediately. The very bad: He quoted me $2,500 for the job. When I told him that was way outside my budget he lowered his price to $800. I again told him that was outside my budget and he lowered it to $680 (I mean shoot your shot man! Maybe I really am a stupid consumer and you can get 6X what it should cost! He was definitely trying to take advantage of me.) Interesting how the same scope of work can so quickly go to less than 1/3 of the original estimate. Beware and ask for a better price.
