Let me answer those questions through describing my process in which I capture the most amazing photographs.
I don’t just want you to hire me as your photographer. I want you to hire me as your visual storyteller. Through listening to your story I am able to understand who you are so I can better tell your story through my photography. I look forward to getting to know you, your partner, and/or your family.
Listening to your story is just the start of the relationship I love to have with my clients. When I get to know my customers more as friends then clients then I can put them at the center of their life story through the images I create.
I strive to surpass my client's expectations with a process that is engaging and fun for everyone.

Brian could not have been easier to work with. He was enthusiastic, creative and exceptionally patient. We have a large family of 15 along with a couple of friends and he was able to get many great photos to choose from. He went above and beyond covering two different days to capture our vacation.

I had an outdoor photoshoot with my 3 year old son who wanted to run the entire time. Brian was extremely willing AND able to work with us as we ran for nearly an hour straight, still managing to get amazing shots of us at play. Several that even look like poses. He did the work to make sure he caught our good angles with the sunlight all the while giving me suggestions to take advantage of my boys energy. When it comes time for our next shoot I will definitely use ALiVe Photography and have already recommended to friends.

FAQs
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will talk over the phone and email to setup some basics prior to the shoot. Then on the day of the shoot I will provide a hair and makeup person. During that time I will conduct a preshoot interview to get on the same page with my model(s) and what they hope to capture in the pictures while also explaining my tentative plan for the shoot.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
classically trained in film from classes in high school through college. Numerous classes in digital photography while pursuing a degree in communication studies.
