Sometimes we get performers who don't understand that libraries plan events 6 months in advance of the Summer Reading Program. We advertise a performer for months, and get school kids excited about our summer events. When they either don't show, run late, or ask at the last minute to show up at a different day it looks very bad on the library's reputation. Matt is reliable every time we book him, and even shows up early to help set up. He's also very cooperative with room arrangements and time constraints.
