When we decided we needed to convert our garage to living space, we spoke to 3 other people before finding Cornerstone Living. Finding Fernando as a contractor was a stroke of luck. He started out listening to all the details that were important to us and gave us a contract with specifically what we were looking to have done, the price and time line. The job was done very quickly. We thought it would take 3-4 weeks and it took 12 days! He had many workers, multiple crews, and was here on the job nearly every day. He also helped us figure out the best option for running AC to the area and was able to get us a good price on that. This was not included in the contract but he helped with this anyway. His communication with us was impeccable. He responded to calls and texts in a timely manner. He took all of our questions and suggestions, no matter how small, into respectful consideration and responded professionally. He also expected the same from his work crews. We would recommend that as a customer you stay on top of the job. We had a few things involving insulation being installed that we might have missed if we were not checking into the details. When we brought the concerns to his attention they were resolved. We were treated very well and would use him again when we need. The work turned out excellent. Please see before and after pictures.

Attention before u pick your contractor on thumbtack Cornerstone Living LLC was the only company that catered to my needs knowing that it was not a big job. They showed up to my house 1 hr away 6 times before we signed a contract and by the 3 time they showed up I was convinced that this was the company to execute the job. Patient, detailed, affordable and caring of our personal space. We have decided to expand our project with them because of the patients and professionalism that they have given me and my husband. Other thumbtack companies ignored us because they didn't see the big Dollars signs.... Spencer and Fernando really surprised me with there negotiating to my budget to the safety barriers they built to keep my kids safe. Over the top crew and performance. Don't waste your time with the money hungry contractors these guys are truly genuine!

Saying I am OBSESSED with our new fireplace is an understatement! We obtained 4 different quotes from local Austin companies and Corner Stone Living LLC spent the most time talking with me on the process, design of what we were looking for and was very patient even when I was open about waiting on additional quotes from other contractors. We ultimately chose to work with them because their prices were very fair and started $3k cheaper than the others AND how personable they made the experience. It was very clear it was about building a relationship and experience over a transaction. During the building process my son became very sick and had to be home for a week. Everyday Fernando and his team asked how he was doing and I truly appreciated that. Now I can’t wait to get the Christmas tree up and decorate our new fireplace!!! Thank you again!!
