I will start by saying that everyone I dealt was very nice, respectful, and all seemed like good people. We had a dryer vent relocated in a laundry room to accommodate a stackable unit. This job just ended up as a struggle from beginning to end. After an initial conversation, I felt good about them and turned away several others. We had several delays…not on my end…that postponed the timeline, but I will say the communication was good the entire time. Where this went a bit sideways was with the drywall repair after the vent was relocated. The first attempt was a complete disaster. They ended up having to send a different person to try and salvage the mess that was initially created. In the end, after I primed the wall to paint, there were to massive humps in the wall that I ended up having to mud and feather smooth with several coats to make it not noticeable. My hope in hiring them was that I wouldn’t have to do any of the drywall work…but unfortunately wasn’t the case. Maybe this would have been a better experience if the first attempt to fix the drywall would have been better, but who knows.
