FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have several packages to offer in each category of portraiture, i.e. family, individual, couples, boudoir and petography, all varying in fees based on length of session, number of participants and amount of digital images shared. We make your entire gallery of images from your session available to you for purchase as well! Check out our Portfolio and Pricing section of our website.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to speak directly to you via phone then set up an in-person consultation - we like developing relationships! Once we have agreed on a package and have our ducks in a row, we send a contract to you then recommendations for styling for your session. We compile a timeline of expectations for you to review and approve, then prepare our ideas and shots ahead of time. Our shoot with you should be a seamless, expedient yet fun and engaging time.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our photographer, Joye, is primarily self-taught but has attended online classes for several facets of editing and shooting, as well as having been hired as a second shooter in a Dude-oir shoot and several wedding sessions. She apprenticed under a fellow photographer in the Dude-oir shoot to gain knowledge about lighting and shooting to accomplish less editing. We are PPA (Professional Photographers of America) members. Our stylist and scheduler, Debby, has scheduled for many other businesses, including a dance studio where she gained a great deal of her skill for styling for photo shoots. Abbie is our second shooter and behind the scenes professional, which she has learned by attending events and sessions with Joye and Debby.
