Tara was such a pleasure to work with. While wedding planning can be a very stressful time, Tara made the photography process easy, fun, and tailored to meet our wedding needs. She is extremely responsive and professional. I was instantly sold when I met with her face-to-face and she had a well-organized and detailed services packet to share with my husband and I. Leading up to the big day, Tara would routinely check-in to get feedback from us and verify all of the logistics. When she met with us at the venue before the wedding, she immediately went to work figuring out locations and lighting. On the day of, Tara arrived early and was ready to start shooting, immediately. She was so supportive and friendly and made me feel comfortable while she took our pictures. She was patient and managed all of the wedding guests' and family members' photos incredibly well. She added so many thoughtful and personal touches throughout the entire experience (i.e. hand-written card, tide-to-go wipes...) The final product was amazing. I loved how she captured intimate moments between our families. Overall, Tara perfectly memorialized the love and happiness from that day through her photos. The lighting and colors are stunning. I am very pleased and would recommend Tara to anyone who is in need of a great photographer. I would 100% use Tara to capture other life events!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing reflects not only my skill set and the time taken during the photo session, but also time it takes to edit. For any session 45+ miles from me I do charge a small travel fee. The travel fee is usually covered under wedding packages though!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to ask the client the type of shoot they are aiming for and the style of photos they tend to like. If they have photo examples, from Pinterest for example, I love to see them! I want to make sure I am capturing their memories in a way they find most appealing.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree.
