Cayla photographed our 19 family members (including 9 young kids) on the occasion of my 70th birthday. Because of cold weather we were forced to relocate from a natural/outdoor to a partially indoor venue. In the face of this Cayla did a great job. She was patient, professional and efficient in her work which was of excellent quality at a good value. I can recommend her highly for your family’s photo needs.

We absolutely LOVE our photos! We can't stop looking at them. Cayla was so easy to work with and she made us feel super comfortable. She edited them right away so we were able to see the photos much sooner than we expected. She was very accomodating to our schedule and she made the whole process really fun. She even bought us champagne for our engagement! We can't say enough good things about her, and we would highly recommend her to our friends and family!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My sessions are very strategically priced! I work hard to create more than just a "photoshoot," but an experience for all of my clients. There's more to it than just taking the photos - there's gear, software, travel, editing, and my team who helps me when my workload gets too heavy. This is why I don't offer discounts!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to chat first about what it is you're looking for and then proceed to let you know how I can make it happen. If you're local to me, I love getting to meet up and scope out the location together or grab a coffee and discuss ideas! If you're not local, that's okay! We can plan outfits and all of the fun details over text no problem.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I actually got my bachelor's in psychology and have worked at NASA and managed a ballroom dance studio... none of which leads you to believe I know what I'm doing! But let me assure you, after over 3 years behind the camera, lots of online courses, trial and error, and portfolio building, I've become a rather confident self-taught photographer.
