The man makes promises he can't deliver, wastes your time, then insults and blame shifts. I would not recommend investing time and energy with a dude who shouldn't be taken seriously.

Rodgers Woodworks's reply
Natalie, I never promised anything. When we first met, I told you I would do my best. You explained to me you had two other kitchen contractors who gave you quotes and you mentioned to me you have been without a kitchen for a year. After working on kitchen renderings (many revisions to the drawings) and spending a great deal of my time doing revisions to the estimates you still weren't satisfied and wanted everything for under 12K. I listened to your requests and made changes to try and get some components that you wanted and couldn't get the whole price under 12K because you didn't realize how expensive a kitchen remodel actually cost. I did try and reason with you on your demands but unrealistically it was not going to happen because of your limited budget. You were going to have to account for the additional orders that were not available from the product line. You refused to compromise. Something has to give and yet you refused to understand why. As a cabinet professional, you refused to take any professional advice from me. I tried to help you achieve the kitchen but it does come at a price. I emailed you earlier this morning about my decision not to continue working on this project, even though I wasn't hired. You posted a negative review around 11:30am later this morning because you were upset that you didn't get what you wanted and was mad at my email with my decision. So, I'm going to post my email below for every customer who wants to check me out. Hi Natalie, Fri, Apr 28 at 5:44 AM After reading your two emails yesterday it apparently doesn't look very promising. I think it would be in the best interest of everyone that we go our separate ways. If we move forward with this, this project would have been a nightmare. Speaking of damage control I cannot work with somebody who refuses to take my professional advice. This is not a one-way street. This has to be a two ways street and it's supposed to be a team project, a teamwork at its finest. I also have a reputation to protect. I do thank you for the opportunity, unfortunately, it didn't pan out the way we both would have envisioned or hoped for. Good luck with your project. Thank you, Chris I will strive to remain professional. You twisted the words in your review accusing me of insulting you and applying blame shifts when I've been nothing but professional with you the entire time. I asked you and you wouldn't buckle, therefore, what choices do I have? You gave me literally no choice but to move on. I made 5 or 6 revisions to the drawings when I only allow 2 because of the time and the quote has to be entered manually on a 2020 Space software that I was trained to do and that is time consuming. I have the training and the experience (20 years). If you cannot take advice from a professional what good does that do for the entire circumstance? So, that led to my decision to not do any more revisions because I feel like we would not accomplish anything when you have been nothing but demanding and not willing to compromise (for 2 full weeks). Again, something has to give. You just wouldn't accept that it does, in fact, cost a lot more than what you budgeted for. So, I do wish you the best of luck with your kitchen project. Chris
