This business has very smart people. I had called about a possible leak in the crawlspace. A man called me not long after and He went in the crawlspace and took pictures.
I’m in what was a do-it-yourself disaster and the listing agent P. Medferd didn’t tell me of all the problems nor did the home inspector.
This man showed me the pipes froze hear the door but the rest of the pipes were very small opening and they were brittle & cracked!! I asked him if he could take care of it. Replace all these pipes and bring my plumbing up to code. Medford quickly left Forest city to go work under someone else in Bostic. She is retired from her other job. Very condescending.
Anyhow this company was willing to take on the job. I asked him about tankless hot water he said not really better in savings than using a tank. Okay. So he would show up early. He spent 8 hours replacing the pipe with a flexible blue & red pipe that won’t freeze. This is an HONEST business not like the hack P. Medford! I think Green Realty told her to leave because I called up and I was crying. I’m a veteran and a senior citizen and she took full advantage of me. She needs to see a psychiatrist not me!! She is a detriment to herself and others in her new real estate career! She was not honest and kept weeping about the 2nd husband she didn’t love. (Very unprofessional!) She hijacked my lawyer so I was pa but she was talking to them every week. And she used extortion tactics. She said a couple of married people tried to purchase this house and it fell through so the sellers are nervous and they want more due diligence money!! I said IM A VETERAN SO I DO NOT HAVE TO PSY OUT OF POCKET FOR INDPECTIONS AND SHE SAID If you back out you lose the three thousand you already gave so she wanted two more thousand because she said they don’t believe you can afford this house alone. I said Pam! You have me in a crap shoot (card game) and keep telling me if I say no to more demands of thousands then I’ll lose the money I already gave you!?! Yes she said. I wrote a another check now up yo five thousand doll down and I’m s Veteran so I don’t have to put anything beyondd one thousand down. Then, she didn’t show up to closing she went to her beach house for memorial Day weekend. And then my closing as 4:30 and they close at five. So I signed asked for keys. I was exhausted. I spent 20,000 easy on home inspections for my buyer! (Not supposed to I’m DISABLED VET!) and the paralegal said sorry the deed has to be recorded first at court and they close in ten minutes. So o lost it and said OH FKING WELL!!! They DIDNT WITE MY CASH??!! And they are up in MY MOUNTAIN HOUSE DRINKING CHAMPAGNE RIGHT NOW!!! I said well I AM HOING BACK TO MY OLD HOUSE NOW!!! And I never heard of such a thing both realtors my age conspired because they told me I need to move out of the housea week prior to closing it’s the law (LIARS!) Veterans don’t have to pay out of pocket but they both told me it’s the law in the South it’s old. I spent 3 years with a handy man and other workers to get my house up to code and looking good. I used Lowe’s for granite countertops .
So getting back to the review, the last thing to fix was the plumbing problems. The man in charge showed me the date on the water heater. The home inspector didn’t tell me the truth either!! They were all in. Cahoots and they also stuck me with a buyers agent fee SCAM!! It’s not the law it’s negotiated. I already told them NO I will not pay one nickel I didn’t hire a buyers agent and I am not paying another nickel to those sons of from Charlotte. They just wanted a mountain house. I bought and sold many many houses in my time and I never saw such a sh t-show as this sale and purchase. Those two old biddies are liars and hacks. What they did d was criminal but I have not found a lawyer. I go in after paying $100 dollars and this kid says I can’t help you I said what? He said again I can’t help you. This punk at King Law near the mall with the word of God Cult Kitchen in Forest city or The Soul of Michoacán restaurant. At king this guy waved me off saying you heard me now go on! I was crying in the car. And I got an excellent frozen Margarita from Soul of Michoacán.
It’s so hard to find a lawyer. I guess I have to go to Mooresville. I’m just so sick of being ripped off. When they say oh you have to go to our website and pay there!! I never heard of such a thing.
In closing, the man from this company showed me the date on my hot water heater and it was leaking too with some cheap old thin like a straw, pipes!! The water heaters are good for about 15 years. Mine was 18 years old!! So another big expenditure!! He was here about 4 days working. The do it yourselfers used a pipe as thick as a McDonald’s STRAW!! And it was all cracked and brittle. That was about 4 years ago and I still haven’t got up the courage to call an electrician. I will ask my mechanic for a referral. Make sure you get referrals from good business people that you know. Word of mouth is the best way. Then from there you can go online and read reviews and see if they have what you need.
As for this business, they are the best. Because I had many people working in the crawlspace and they were not on the ball. My crawlspace has been wet since I moved in. They put one of those pipes/tubes in a hole they created in the cinder block foundation to drain the swamp that was under there and they didn’t know what else to do. It was constantly leaking thru the tube.
Thank you Ultimate Plumbing for your expertise and not ripping me off. I got ripped off bad from R. heating & air too they changed hands and the owner is from New York told me to “stick it”. So I am not hiring any lying American company who laughs behind my back and calls me “Yankee” and they are not nice people. To call me the Y word is like calling them stupid hillbilly or using the N word. But I don’t know of any black business so I can’t say anything about their work.
The people from S. America & Cuba do not disrespect me. They call me Miss ___ and my first name. I lived in TN many years and they are the kindest people and I am thankful I was able to be stationed there. I don’t like well water. The water main comes in thru under the kitchen sink so he stopped this from leaking and put in a shut off valve under the sink because I can’t go in the crawlspace. He said it’s good your water comes in there.

This professional is the best. I had a leak from a cheap plastic filter that filled my 2 gallon container. This man came out 8:30 AM and he said it is not leaking anymore but watch it. Before I went to slee around 11:30 PM I checked. It was full again The water main I had put there when I moved in so I turned it off I tried to turn the plastic lever it wouldn’t. I had to spill a half gallon water to get the container out and then it was spraying! I put the empty container and the water stopped bc I shut off the valve.
Today he returned and I asked overnight to return 9 AM and he did. He took it apart and then he saw a crack near the black valve on the pic full of sediment. It was cracked. He said I want to see in the crawlspace bc I asked him what does tankless hot water cost? He said it would cost a lot in electricity more than running a regular hot water tank. If it didn’t more people would have it.
He went downstairs and the pic near foundation those 2 pipes were frozen the last couple weeks and now they are leaking and he checked the date on the hot water heater and it’s about 15 years old. It’s past expiration and the white insulation on the water tank was wet because it has been leaking . My home inspector neglected to tell me about that. In cahoots with an untrustworthy Realtor.
So I said Wow! I’m so glad I called this man!! He had a sneaking suspicion something was wrong in the crawlspace and he wanted to make sure I have no problem there. So there are skinny pipes not up to code and a McDonald’s STRAW IS thicker than these bottle cheap pipes. One drains outside constantly. that is what was under the house. So this smart Christian man is going to replace all that junk and hot water heater. There’s a new technology pipe that can expand if iced and it will contract when the ice goes. When the weather men say drip your faucet overnight then do it. I’m from the north we never had this problem but we don’t have crawlspaces either. So I learned an expensive lesson. But at least it’s not Copper ($$$$). Thank you kind Sir. This lady Veteran salutes you!

He replaced every pipe in the crawlspace and showed me the water heater is 18 years old so he replaced every thin skinny, brittle leaking pipes and now everything is dry in my crawlspace. I was shocked at what the do-it-yourselfers did to my house. So check dates on the water heater, the appliances in the kitchen, ask when was septic pumped … and if they say idk, then make them pump out the septic! Actually up north, before you purchase the house it is by law that the seller had to empty the septic system and they need to have a “Title Five” septic system installed before a sale can happen. So my house is NO LONGER A DiY - Disaster. Thanks Thumbtack!!
