All of our services require a deposit before scheduling. Terms of Service Extra-Hand Home Repairs Effective Date: [8/18/2023] Welcome to Extra-Hand Home Repairs ("we," "us," "our"). By using our services, you ("Customer," "you," "your") agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read these Terms of Service carefully before scheduling an appointment or requesting an estimate. 1. Deposit and Scheduling - All customers are required to pay a $150 deposit before a job can be scheduled or dispatched. - The $150 deposit covers a minimum of 2 hours of service at a rate of $75 per hour. - This deposit is non-refundable once the job is scheduled. - If a job is valued over $500, a payment deposit is necessary to cover all materials and 1/2 the labor cost. - All payments are due 24 hours after completion of job. - A daily fee of 5% of total balance remaining will be added, not to extend 10 days past non payment if payment is not rendered within 24 hours upon completion. 2. Service Rates - Additional time required beyond the initial 2 hours will be billed at a rate of $52 per hour. - Time is billed in hourly increments, not in minutes. - Payment for any additional time must be made within 1 day of service completion. 3. Estimate Fees - If a service is not directly booked, we charge a $50 fee for all estimates provided. - The $50 estimate fee must be paid before a technician can be dispatched. - If you decide to proceed with the service after receiving the estimate, the $50 estimate fee will be deducted from your total service cost. 4. Payment Terms - Payments can be made via [list accepted payment methods, e.g., credit card, debit card, cash, etc.]. - Payments for additional time beyond the initial 2 hours must be made within 1 day of service completion. - Failure to make payment within the specified timeframe may result in additional charges and/or suspension of future service. 5. Cancellation and Rescheduling - Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance. - Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service may result in forfeiture of the $150 deposit. - Rescheduling is subject to availability and may require an additional deposit. 6. Scope of Work - The scope of work will be defined and agreed upon before the commencement of any service. - Any changes to the scope of work may result in additional charges and will be billed at the applicable hourly rate. 7. Liability - Extra-Hand Home Repairs is not liable for any damages or losses beyond the cost of the service provided. - We are fully insured, and any damage caused by our technicians will be addressed in accordance with our insurance policy. 8. Warranty - We offer a., 30-day warranty on all services provided, covering labor and materials. - Warranty claims must be made within the specified warranty period and are subject to inspection and approval by our technicians. 9. Privacy - We respect your privacy and will not share your personal information with third parties without your consent, except as required by law. 10. Governing Law - These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [South Carolina]. 11. I don’t usually give reviews or feedback for services I receive, but it was such a great experience I just want to support this company as much as I can. For starters I was skeptical about making a payment before services was provided however, our contract terms were very solid and honestly provided me with way more security if the work or services provided was not to my satisfaction. I had my French exterior doors replaced, they were in terrible condition and was rotting the frame of my house, the repair was completed in one day and they also did the interior trim casing for no additional charge, painted and styled it to a more modern casing. I would recommend Extra-Hand Home Repairs 10 out of 10 times!! Thank you Jasmine

I recently had the pleasure of working with Extra-Hand Home Repairs for some much needed home repairs, and I couldn't be happier with the results. They handled my kitchen cabinet installation and complete faucet repair flawlessly. Additionally, they did an excellent job on some much-needed gutter repairs. The responsiveness and professionalism displayed by this company were immaculate. They promptly addressed all my requests and completed the work in a timely manner. The quality of their work is unquestionable, and their attention to details is evident in every aspect of the job. I am extremely pleased with the outcome and highly recommend Extra- Hand Home Repairs to anyone in need of home repairs. I inquired Sunday June 16th on Thumbtack to have someone come out and install two doors along with repairing the threshold. Sent out the standard text to whom Thumbtack matched. Had interaction with a Jasmine Glover on yesterday Monday June 17th. Her attitude was nasty and her tone was stale straight out of the gate and I had not even booked my appointment yet. I wouldn’t trust access to my home to anyone with type of demeanor. I would hate to see what kind of work they do if this is how they are represented. I wouldn’t trust the work. If something goes wrong this is the kind of attitude you can expect I have posted the conversation for context.

Annette Glover, we spent 3 days in a row reaching out to you to no avail. trying to get you scheduled to provide an estimate. The entitlement you believe you are awarded is eye-opening. We have never met you ma'am, we never even received your address, never spoke to you on the phone and couldnt get you to respond to a message. you was not able to be reached for three days so we closed your file. with all due respect, we have all rights to refuse to provide you a service or entertain the idea of a potential relationship due to your lack of communication. As stated to you during your lack of communication, we are a hiring stage company. which means when a client reaches out, they are at a stage for their repair where they are accepting estimates, quotes, and in home visits to determine which company would be the right fit. For 72 hours after you contacted us, you stopped responding when we tried to obtain your address to schedule an estimate. Only when accounting reached out to you with the message of closing your file due to non response is when you actually responded. You were offended that accounting confused 5 days of no response with 3 days of no response. never the less, you then threatened to do exactly what you did, intentionally try to discredit my company because we take our business seriously, as you should as well. .
