Terms of Service
Extra-Hand Home Repairs

Welcome to Extra-Hand Home Repairs ("we," "us," "our"). By using our services, you ("Customer," "you," "your") agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read these Terms of Service carefully before scheduling an appointment or requesting an estimate.
1. Deposit and Scheduling
- All customers are required to pay a $150 deposit before a job can be scheduled or dispatched.
- The $150 deposit covers a minimum of 2 hours of service at a rate of $75 per hour.
- This deposit is non-refundable once the job is scheduled.
- If a job is valued over $500, a payment deposit is necessary to cover all materials and 1/2 the labor cost.
- All payments are due 24 hours after completion of job.
- A daily fee of 5% of total balance remaining will be added, not to extend 10 days past non payment if payment is not rendered within 24 hours upon completion.
2. Service Rates
- Additional time required beyond the initial 2 hours will be billed at a rate of $52 per hour.
- Time is billed in hourly increments, not in minutes.
- Payment for any additional time must be made within 1 day of service completion.
3. Estimate Fees
- If a service is not directly booked, we charge a $50 fee for all estimates provided.
- The $50 estimate fee must be paid before a technician can be dispatched.
- If you decide to proceed with the service after receiving the estimate, the $50 estimate fee will be deducted from your total service cost.
4. Payment Terms
- Payments can be made via [list accepted payment methods, e.g., credit card, debit card, cash, etc.].
- Payments for additional time beyond the initial 2 hours must be made within 1 day of service completion.
- Failure to make payment within the specified timeframe may result in additional charges and/or suspension of future service.
5. Cancellation and Rescheduling
- Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service may result in forfeiture of the $150 deposit.
- Rescheduling is subject to availability and may require an additional deposit.
6. Scope of Work
- The scope of work will be defined and agreed upon before the commencement of any service.
- Any changes to the scope of work may result in additional charges and will be billed at the applicable hourly rate.
7. Liability
- Extra-Hand Home Repairs is not liable for any damages or losses beyond the cost of the service provided.
- We are fully insured, and any damage caused by our technicians will be addressed in accordance with our insurance policy.
8. Warranty
- We offer a., 30-day warranty on all services provided, covering labor and materials.
- Warranty claims must be made within the specified warranty period and are subject to inspection and approval by our technicians.
9. Privacy
- We respect your privacy and will not share your personal information with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
10. Governing Law
- These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [South Carolina].
11. Amendments
