- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I require a retainer that is only refundable fully or partially under certain circumstances. The amount is 50% of total session price. I also offer a one-time only 10% discount to returning customers.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually gather all the information and set up a new contact. For booking purposes, I will mention prices, how long things will take, what days I’m available, etc. Closer to the session date, I try to send a message out to either confirm, change, or suggest things. I also create Pinterest boards that may potentially help clients as well as myself. After the session, there’s a whole process I go over with the client so they understand when and how they receive the photos.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I’ve always loved photography. I was going through a tough time in Fall 2022 and decided to start using my digital camera again. It started off with wildlife and then I wanted a little more so I went out on a limb and started this!
