FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer a variety of services. For 1-on-1 organizing, a short session (up to 3 hours) is $275 and a full-day session (up to 7 hours) is $600. A free donation drop-off, custom product recommendations, e-waste recycling, and safe medication disposal is included for no additional fee. For full-service organizing, projects are billed at $625-$850 per day onsite (depending on how many organizers are needed for the project). The price includes a complimentary pre-planning session, custom product recommendations and shopping, and assistance with related tasks (including donation drop-offs, media conversions, and coordinating with related vendors, such as junk haulers). Packing is billed at the rate of $850 per day, and includes a team of two organizers. Shopping for packing supplies, an inventory of your boxes, and donation drop-offs are included.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a free, 30-minute phone consultation to learn more about your organizing project and goals. For most clients, I recommend beginning with an introductory organizing session, which provides time to go deeper into your organizing challenges and goals and get started on your project. After the introductory session, you will receive a detailed written organizing plan and can schedule more sessions as needed. For clients with larger projects or moves, I may require an in-home estimate prior to beginning your project if I need more information.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a professional member of the National Association of Productivity and Organizing professionals (NAPO), and have completed required professional training courses and adhere to the ethical standards of the organization. I also have received my Level 1 Certificate of Study in Chronic Disorganization from the Institute for Challenging Disorganization.
