Jessica M. says, "Chrissy is magic. My husband has newly diagnosed ADHD and is really attached to his stuff. He is also a designer and so has a very real need to have stuff for projects he’s working on. Plus we have two small kids, and he’s incredibly creative with them, so imagine craft supplies and science experiments for days. We also have collected mid century Knick knacks for our whole relationship (15 years). I consider myself type A and highly organized. I also work way more than 40 hours per week and have no patience for clutter (not a good quality!). So clutter has been a point of tension for us and decluttering is something we have never been able to do together. Chrissy was perfect for us. She brings her experience as a therapist, an organizer, and a genuinely amazing person. She worked one on one with both of us for a total of 15-20 hours over one week. During that time, she was able to very gently, compassionately, yet effectively help my husband organize an office that has looked like a war zone for 15 years. It took 3 days but they did it. She knew when to gently push him, helped him think of solutions, and came up with a system to prevent reaccumulation. Most importantly, my husband left the experience feeling affirmed, proud of his accomplishments, and capable of keeping things tidy. Just as impressively, Chrissy was able to flex to help me. I have a polar opposite personality to my husband. I also thought I was good at organizing-maybe I am, but Chrissy is NEXT LEVEL. Chrissy thought of solutions I never imagined, encouraged me to consider alternate uses for stuff that had been idle for too long, and helped me identify more stuff to get rid of than I would have on my own (stuff I just didn’t even “see” anymore. I cannot believe the difference between when I’ve gone on a declutterring binge in the past by myself and how things are post-Chrissy. We are already planning times for Chrissy to come back to help with my pantry, the basement, and to help with upkeep of what we have. I can’t wait!"See more
