FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Though a photographer by working title, I am also experienced and trained as a writer as a recent graduate of the University of Pittsburgh's English Writing program with a focus in Fiction. I have been fortunate enough to have received several distinctions, including a “Top-Rated Entry” in the Magnum Photography Awards 2017. I have also had work published in several places, including Collision Literary Magazine, Health Monitor Magazine, Digging Through the Fat Press, Brainchild Literary Magazine of the Mid-East Honors Association, and Forbes and Fifth Undergraduate Research Journal where after having two works published I served on staff for two years as the Section Editor for Art.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I loved shooting with my parents' camera as a kid! Eventually I got involved in photographing local theatre productions as well as live music sets in high school, which is when I began to transition to more professional work. I am now 23 and have been photographing for 8 years.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have taken photographs with many walks of life and all kinds of wonderful people. Whether it's musicians, corporate offices, newlyweds, models, business owners, law firms, or editorial publications, I've found that I like to keep my photographic clientele open so that I'm able to meet all kinds of new and exciting people and learn more about their passions and about what they do.
