Beth was AWESOME! We hired Beth to take our engagement photos. We had a blast taking the photos. Beth was extremely kind, and made the engagement photos a memorable time. We received the photo gallery one week after the shoot. The photos were perfect... more than what we imagined. Beth did a fantastic job editing the photos as well. The online gallery she provided us was extremely user friendly. I would highly recommend Beth to anyone looking for a photographer!

I got Engagment photos done by Adam & his One of The Best photographers out there!!!Had Alot of fun!& Got 917 Perfect photos in 2 hours!! went to 3 locations!!!If anyone wants Wow moments captured Perfectly! I recomend Adam,it was snowing outside,i didnt think i will get good photos but They turned out Just Wow!!!!He Even Made paper hearts for us! For the poses he had in mind with the snow,They Just turned out amazing! thanks Adam

Carrie did a phenomenal job with my sister's engagement photos! She took the time to ensure that the proposal location was cleared of other people as well as talking to a musician right near by and getting him to play a song during the proposal. It was a phenomenal evening and I am so glad that Carrie was there to help us capture the magic! We would absolutely choose her again for any of our photography needs and know that we were in great hands.

Amy showed up 45 minutes late to our scheduled time, which really threw a wrench in my plans for a surprise engagement. She didn’t know too many poses either so we had to drive the photo shoot’ ourselves. Wouldn’t recommend, advise spending more money for someone else.

How do say thank you to someone who has captured a moment that you will cherish forever? I asked Mike to shoot my engagement on top of the Cathedral of Learning at the University of Pittsburgh. This was a very special moment in both my life and the history of U Pitt. No pressure to Mike haha! I could not have asked for anything more from the start to finish with Mike. He is a true professional who has hustle, determination, and skill that surpasses any photographer I have seen to date. I will be using M4J Photography in the future and I highly suggest that if you are between a couple different photographer M4J Photography will be the best choice you have made in a while. Michael did an amazing job shooting our surprise engagement! He managed to capture every moment from the time we walked into the room to Melissa's celebratory dance after the proposal. And he did all of this in full stealth mode... she had no idea he was there!

I reached out to M4J to help out with some proposal/engagement photos. It was a last minute thought for me to get it documented. I contacted Michael the day before I proposed, and he was able to make it work at the location I wanted. We had to throw a little audible, as the exact spot I wanted was fairly crowded. Michael and the team were easily on board and made it happen! Aside from the absolutely amazing quality of the photos, the M4J team was extremely professional and polite, and made the whole process very easy. Michael has a great command and control, while letting us also exist in the moment. One thing I really enjoyed about the experience, was Michael had asked us questions about our relationship and captured the moments of us answering those questions.Â
After it was all said and done, Michael and the team immediately got to work on the photos, and we ended up getting them that night!!! I can't thank M4J enough for everything as they were able to capture our hearts on a big day.

This was my first experience hiring a professional photographer and I couldn't have been more pleased. In the weeks leading up to my surprise engagement, Lisa was responsive in addressing all of my questions and requests. I was traveling from Philadelphia to Pittsburgh to propose and Lisa lived just north of the city. Since she was not extremely familiar with the specific area that I was proposing, she did her own independent research and was able to understand how I wanted to map out the pictures. I also connected Lisa with my fiance's friend on the day of. It worked out perfectly ! Lisa captured the moments leading up to the proposal, the act itself and the celebration afterwards. What a success !
Overall, I thought her pricing was very reasonable, but more importantly the quality of her work was outstanding. Capturing this moment was very important to us and we couldn't be happier with the results. Would DEFINITELY recommend. Thanks again Lisa !

So here I am a little bit more then 24 hours after my proposal with my beautiful fiancé. I am sitting in the airport delayed several hours and I am glowing from ear to ear along with my fiancé. The reason for Is that I am engaged to the most amazing person I know. But to add to that joy I had the pleasure of working with Michael. Every panicked text that I sent him, months in advance to the day of, he responded immediately and without judgment. There were no dumb questions I could ask him and being this all was a surprise I appreciated it tremendously. I’m not from Pittsburgh and this was my first time there. Michael helped with where to do it, what time of day, setup, making sure no one was there blocking our view for our photos, then on top of that he was so patient and flexible with working with myself, fiancé, and soon to be in laws. Truly I feel blessed to have him work this proposal and forever will be greatful. He made this a possibility and was worth every cent! Don’t be silly people, if you can use him do it!

Kaushik is a wonderful photographer! I was between a couple pro's and I'm so glad I chose Kaushik for my surprise engagement.
The initial conversation was great, and he setup a time to talk on the phone. Very professional, kind, and guided the conversation. He helped me with the small details of where to propose and gave a couple cues so we knew we were on the same page. We then talked on the phone the day before to go over the details once more. This eased my mind a ton knowing I wouldn't have to worry at all about him capturing this moment. Kaushik arrived early to scout out the area, which was nice to know he would be on time.
When I arrived at the location, there was a wedding photoshoot happening where I was planning on proposing. Thankfully, he found my videographer and they both were able to tell me where to go. It was a little stressful, so having him find a backup location helped so much. I felt very confident he was capturing our moment together, and that allowed me to solely focus on proposing. My fiancée was so surprised and didn't even see him and the videographer until after I asked her and we hugged/kissed. She was shocked! Kaushik was a blast to work with, he made everything fun and showed us pictures so we had options to choose the poses we wanted to do. My fiancée loved that, she was so impressed and glad he was there!
Kaushik communicated with us afterwards and even accommodated to provide a couple pictures for social media. I was thankful he updated us on his progress. My fiancée and I absolutely loved the final pictures and were very impressed! The engagement was during golden hour, which was a great background with the city. But, the sun started going down and we were in shade. Kaushik edited every single picture to make sure we were clearly seen and sent the pictures quickly.
I was very impressed with and would HIGHLY recommend hiring Mitras Photoworks! Kaushik was very nice throughout the whole experience, you truly can tell he loves what he does!
