Mutt Airbrush and Art Supply is an airbrush and art supply store that has been in business since 1999. Our store is located in center city, Philadelphia on 4th and South, right off of South Street and down the block from Jim’s Steak. The owner and head airbrush artist of Mutt Airbrush is Bryon Wackwitz who was one of the first magic the gathering artist and created such classics as Pendlehaven. During that time he worked for wizards the coast as an art director before starting an airbrush shop on 69th street, Philadelphia and relocating his business onto South Street a few years later. Under his employ are other talented airbrush artists who work to ensure the quality of work is to customer satisfaction.
At Mutt Airbrush and Art Supply we specialize in making custom airbrushed items on almost any material. We have a 1-3 day in advance turnaround time for simple items such as names on clothing or pictures on apparel. More complex items such as motor cycle helmets or sneakers take us a bit longer to do so we always require around a week for sneakers and between one to two months for helmets. We also do murals and banners for those big events or long term art investments. Here at Mutt Airbrush we strive to give our customers the best work and service within our ability. I would like to say, "Thanks, Google!" I found Mutt Art Supply and had an air brush job done. I LOVE IT! I'm having 2 portraits done. I actually watched him do a portrait while I was there. The portrait was so beautiful it dam near bought tears to my eyes! He brought it to life!! The actual owner might cry when he see it! They get the job done!! I will forever be a customer and will recommend EVERYBODY and ANYBODY who's interested in having an air brush job done!! Mutt, it's 1:51am the owner of my gift is on his way! Found this shop by accident having parked up for a visit to Jim's Steaks. The shop looked amazing so I popped in with my daughters & got chatting to Mutt. He airbrushed me a custom shirt freehand. His art is absolutely amazing. I have the email & will be back in touch for some more custom work. My girls loved the custom Nikes and the custom sprayed toys are stunning. Don't miss this shop if you're in Phillie!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing depends on the job. The more complex the more time it takes and the more it costs. Shirts and apparel usually begin at $15 and go up. Murals usually start around $36-$86 a square foot +- depending. We can do quantity discounts and have special pricing for doing events. If you have any questions feel free to contact us.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
All work must be agreed upon in writing and a deposit must be made upon signing of terms. The deposit is usually 1/2 upfront and the remainder due upon completion before the work is picked up ( in the case of apparel) or before the finish of the last day for murals. Any changes made after signing the agreement will incur a extra charge.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have around 70 years of experience between the main artist and staff in the art field. We have been continually in business with a brick and mortar on South Street for 20 years.
Mutt, the lead artist and owner is known for being one of the vintage artist for Magic the Gathering among many other games in the 90's, his work has also been featured by clothing companies such as Lot 29 and has been featured in videos by popular hip hop artist. His staff of professionals all have similar pedigrees in their prospective fields.
