Long story short: I had a bad experience with a previous contractor who went against the original scope and installed laminate countertops without my knowledge. The final look just wasn't what I was going for, so I reached out to D&D Granite on Thumbtack to understand their process and get a quote.
The team at D&D Granite was responsive, and was able to give me a fair quote very quickly based on an initial picture I shared.
Once I met them on site for sizing the countertops, they were very consultative and attentive to my needs, recommending that I use a backsplash because my existing countertops were mounted against the wall partially and would thus leave a mark. They also recommended I use an undermount sink to replace my drop-in sink because it would look bad otherwise.
4 days later, the crew arrived to install the countertops. It happened in just under 2 hours for mine, including 3 strips of countertop backsplash they had to cut, too.
I was so relieved and happy with the final product. Everything looks great, from the countertops, to the undermount sink. The team was very professional, courteous, and respectful of the property.
