FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is based on hourly rates, the deposit is for coverage of travel expense, and to ensure your day and time. An additional photographer is available for weddings/events for an additional $75/hr rate. I try to work with clients and match their budget, but as a business, I can only offer so much. I also offer prints through my website for an additional varied price, depending on size, quantity and photo paper. Just provide your file number from the google drive link I send you after the photoshoot/event, and fill in the proper prompts, then payment is taken directly through website.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First and foremost, get in contact with the client, have a simple conversation getting to know what their preferences for photos, poses, and edits are, making sure they get an idea of what they should expect before, during and after the photoshoot as well. I provide (if desired) a ‘what-to-wear-guide’, to give an idea of what the client should wear, including color profile ideas. I will also give references to poses that the client can try during the photoshoot, which can be used throughout that day, on a folder within my phone. Then a small contract is developed in order to ensure the date and time of the event or photoshoot. Emailed and signed, with the deposit (varies depending on gig) due at the time of returning the contract, quick and easy through the adobe sign program. I try to make the client feel as comfortable as possible throughout their entire experience with me! The most important part is making the client feel at ease in front of the camera on their special day, or during their special photoshoot.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve taken two photography classes along my college experience, learning about editing, composition, lighting, and techniques of that sort. There were many projects that created an opportunity to expand my creative perspective, in the class and then further in my own business. Mostly learned from my mother although, who went to the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale for Photography in her young 20s.
