I posted a stump grinding project on Thumbtack and got a reply from Mike’s within an hour. After going back and forth and sending photos of the two 3 foot stumps I needed removed, we came to an agreement on a price that was well below what I was expecting.
I scheduled Mike to come out the next day—a Saturday. Unfortunately he arrived about an hour later than the time I had been told which is why I removed one star. Besides that, he was quick and efficient, making short work of the stumps.
For the price and quickness of replying and getting out to do my project, I would definitely recommend him.

Angel and his crew did an incredible job removing our dying 40+ft Sitka spruce last month. Chet was super helpful throughout the process too. Single Line was referred to me by two friends who’ve had work done with them and they did not disappoint.
Their prices were very competitive, they were communicative throughout the scheduling/planning process, and were punctual and professional on service day. Angel’s team of five worked so quickly and seamlessly together to take our big tree down, do stump grinding, cut back some branches on our cedars, and even plant our little dogwood to take the spruce’s place. They really went above and beyond by taking the time to plant our next tree when their work was done- we were not expecting that! They were also kind enough to drop off a large pile of wood chips in our neighbors’ driveway, per their request.
My husband and I highly recommend Single Line Tree Care to anyone in the Portland metro area needing tree services done. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would!
