FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every mural project is unique and one price does not fit all. Prices are determined by a dollar amount per square foot and that amount is determined by the complexity of the design. There is also a fee for the design based on the timing expected to complete at $50 per hour. This cost is usually $250, and can be more for more complex projects. This payment initiates the project and guarantees your spot on the calendar. A clear protective coating is an option for an additional cost, determined by the size of the mural. Prices: Prices run from $15-$55 per square foot and need to be priced individually. The price per square foot is lower for large murals. When asking for a quote, please include size and any ideas you have. Pricing for murals under 16 square feet will be negotiated on an individual basis, All jobs must total at least $500
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First we'll discuss your project and come to an agreement on pricing, timing and the design. The design fee (approximately $250) initiates the process and gets your project on the painting calendar immediately upon receipt. On the day painting is to begin, it is requested that the mural surface as cleaned and primed and the space in front of the wall is clear to make room for the painting process. Half of the cost is due the day painting begins and the balance is due upon completion of the mural. When you are happy with the results, please write a short review for Thumbtack. :)
