I am new to thumbtack & scheduled with this handyman to do some painting Spent time yesterday getting all needed supplies & arrived as scheduled to do the work discussed. Three minutes before I’m expecting his arrival & ready to work He is messaging me, about forgetting his moms party later today So he will not be working & is asking to reschedule I wasted my entire morning preparing,loading up, driving to meet & do today’s scheduled project Cancellation at the scheduled arrival time, is just not ok for me- Unless a truly unexpected event arises This was inconsiderate of my time & effort & not a good first experience on thumbtack
