Introduction
Construction Paper Studio is an architectural design firm founded by Geraldine Witthuhn. Based in Portland, Oregon, we serve our clients with their residential design needs.
We specialize in home renovations, new-build construction, ADUs (accessory dwelling units), and construction management. With a focus on sustainability, we approach design with the understanding that creating buildings that are not only well built, but beloved, will largely impact a structure’s longevity.
Our studio will develop a collaborative process with you that's driven by listening and understanding, curiosity and exploration, and a mutual drive to create thoughtful spaces that enrich your home.

We needed to add living space into an attic and Gerri was great at not only helping us put our vision to life, but also make sure we were prepared for permits (toilet needs to be x from wall, shower height needs to be x from center, etc). When we handed it over to the contractor, they were able to build without issues. We also had no problems with permits! Highly recommend Gerri! Not to mention, she took her time out of her day calling the city to confirm some details. We appreciated her help all the way through the process. Thanks again!
