- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
First How long the company has been in business, ask if the contractor will be using their own employees or if some subcontractors will be involved, ask for references or check their online reviews, finally ask as many questions possible related to the estimating project, that should show the self confidence of the contractor answering the questions. If the contractor is not sure how to answer all your questions related to the bidding project then that’ll give you a better idea to hire
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First we meet for a free estimate, we send the proposal based on the client’s needs, we include itemized and clear quotes, if they like our price and they trust us to do their project, then we schedule the starting date, we provide a completion time frame, when the job is done we do a walk through, making sure our new client is satisfied, if everything is ok and client is satisfied, we send them a final invoice and they happily pay knowing they’ll be backed up with a good warranty on the finished project!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Been working in construction and painting for 25 years gave me all the skills needed for these type of work, I have trained most of my employees for years and the results have been amazing
