FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing can vary depending on the event, I price as a guide, but am always willing to work with a client to meet the needs in the most affordable way possible. In general rates start at $100 minimum fee for shooting and go from there. It does take time to create well done post shoot edits vs. just putting a jpg file on a disc. Weddings, second shooters, special requests can cause pricing to vary. I will always stand behind any quotes given, and usually give options for saving money.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Depending on the type of service requested, the first step is usually an interview to determine the desired goals and outcome of the project. Once the initial need is understood, I will then work with you each step of the way to make sure you are satisfied in the progress.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been photographing events and people for over 15 years.I have worked with and around some of the best professional photojournalists in the Pacific Northwest. I have shot over 200,000 images and covered events from a child's first birthday party to the 2015 Rose Bowl. I have trained and taken advantage of the instruction available from the industry leaders, including Scott Kelby. I am a member of Sportsshooter.com.
