Jeremy and Erika were a dream team! They helped me illustrate a very meaningful kid book, one in which I had two illustrators before them fall through. It was so refreshing to find them and their style felt like night and day from the previous ones.
From the start, they gave me the feeling that they were professional and dependable and that my requests mattered. I knew what to expect and never had to wonder what the next step was. I had a very specific vision for this book and it came out even better than I expected. Jeremy is incredibly talented and can beautifully capture artistically what is explained in words.
Towards the end of the process, I left a few things up to him, if he had time to include and didn’t mind adding in. Without hesitation, he incorporated them.
As an aside, I really appreciate their honesty. Originally I thought I would have to pay extra for a font I picked out and agreed to do so. When the invoice came, they mentioned that they were able to get it for free. They could have easily charged me and I would have never known! Top notch, respectable people. I don’t have a single negative thing to share- maybe just that my book is done and working with them is over. It was such a fun month! :-)
