FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rates vary depending on the nature and complexity of the shoot. Setup, lighting, staging, travel, additional photographers, and editing factors into the final cost. I wish I could give a simple answer, but I will say that I am reasonable (willing to work with a budget) and fair (delivering the most bang for your buck).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like as much client contact and input as possible. The typical process involves conversing with the client until both of us are completely clear about the vision for the shoot/event as well as the desired outcome. This may include scouting locations and/or sharing imaging ideas via Facebook or Pinterest. Approximately a week before the shoot, a run sheet will be generated to ensure in writing that all parties involved know exactly what is expected. On the day of the shoot, we work for you while you relax and enjoy moment. Once the shoot is complete, it typically takes one day per every hour of shooting to process the final images being presented to you (ex. a three hour shoot will take three working days or less before the images are ready for viewing). Once the images are ready for viewing, you will have the option to schedule a time to decide what prints need to be ordered, if you chose to print through us and desire our post production services. Or, you can order from a personalized gallery on our hstudios.org webpage with an easy cart shopping experience. All portraits are process through Mpic, so your will receive high quality prints. All portraiture sessions include a free download service in an a personalized online gallery at hstudios.org. It will contain no less than the specified number of photos agreed upon on hire. The remaining photos will be place in an additional customized gallery for viewing and purchasing.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have enjoyed being a freelance photographer for 6 years. I am a professional photographer in a major photography company, and I run my own photography business. In these past years, I have literally created thousands of portraits and have memorialized dozens of events including graduations, proms, and parties.
