A picture is worth a thousand words, and details tell you the story. You hire a professional to PAY ATTENTION TO DETAILS. Background, angles, people placement, peoples expressions, lighting, and so on. I could best describe this experience as a friend with a fancy camera. Throughout the photo shoot, we had announced that we needed a joyous or sorrowful expression on peoples faces before taking photos. So im not sure why the photos I received each person had different facial reactions. We had taken the photos at a cemetery. The tall, beautifully sculpted headstones adding the perfect touch to the theme. So why are we cutting them out of the shots? When I asked if we could zoom out of some of these photos (assuming she had just zoomed in when editing) she had said yes no problem. After a month of hearing nothing I reached out to see if any progress was made, she then informed me that was the final edits. Why wait so long to inform me? One photo that was important to me go botched the most. A Brady Bunch box photo. A few extra minutes and some direction could have made this come to live. instead, I got black out photoshop of peoples floating heads and missing body party. Yikes! Below is the example and what I got. Are these terrible NO. But attention to details, asking some to take a step to the left so they are in the frame better. Having the photographer take a few steps back to get the whole background. This photographer is young and has much to learn. Make time for the details so you can tell the story.
