I recently hired Luis Handyman Services for drywall repair and basement moisture mitigation work, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the results. On days when it was necessary to complete a crucial part of the job, he didn't hesitate to stay late to ensure everything was done right. His dedication and attention to detail were impressive.
The quality of the work exceeded my expectations. Luis tackled the drywall repairs flawlessly, leaving no trace of the previous damage. The basement moisture mitigation was handled expertly, and I now have peace of mind knowing that my basement is protected.

Live 500 miles from our property and have to rely on Thumbtack to locate a competent handyman, when needed. Usually pretty hard to find someone. Lucked out this time. Luis worked on a Sunday. No additional charge. He replaced the support side of a door frame on a garage door. Showed up when he said he would. Communicated his professional take on the condition of the frame and recommended replacing the whole side of the frame where the door locks. Even recommended finishing the outside with the proper moulding/trim. This will protect the frame into the future from the elements and will not have to repeat this work again for a long time. Sent me a video of the door properly closing after completing his handiwork. Will not hesitate hiring Luis again, and would highly recommend him to others. Thanks Luis, you did a great job. I had a window in my closet that was removed years ago and covered with plywood and tape. Luis COMPLETELY covered it up and it looks so cohesive, plus no more heat escaping! Could not recommend him enough. Thank you Luis! (Photos of the closet before,—with the wood trim that was no longer needed— and after, completely smooth)
