We could not be more pleased with the training Kerry provided both Mocha and us. Mocha has returned a better mannered, more balanced dog. She is the same smart, playful and sweet girl but now she listens. Kerrys communication throughout Mochas advanced training and boarding was outstanding and she kept us informed and excited with videos and pictures. When Kerry brought Mocha home she provided us with a thorough and easy to understand training so we can continue the training exercises. We are thrilled with the service received and highly recommend OverWatch K9 Academy and especially, Kerry. She will forever be Aunt Kerry to Mocha!

100/10 would recommend! I had a 1 year old Beagle who was such a terror. We always joked that on good days her name was Luci and on bad days her name was Lucifer. Before sending Luci off to board and train it was very quickly becoming a Its Me or the Dog situation. Luci got paired up with her human trainer Lucy and they became friends quickly. I got updates every day along with pictures and videos. Just got her back today and I can already tell we are going to be a happy family. When I can afford sending off Lucis Yorkie brother I will definitely do so!

My pup needed a confidence boost and thats what Kirsten gave him. Hes an only pup, so being in a home with her big dogs, getting to interact with Oliver, was a huge benefit. The excursions out & about, and daily updates were wonderful to let me see his progress.Because he has more confidence his training can now be the focus as opposed to his fear. We have tools to be able to work through new situations and learn. So happy with his progress!

From the time we consulted with Joey and Paige, and when we spoke with Lucy about our issues, to when she met our puppy at our home, and took him back to her home, the experience was wonderful.The results she delivered were amazing.From the videos and pictures she sent daily we could see in real time the progress our puppy was makingShe transformed a 6 month old puppy who was a challenge for us into an obedient respectful dogLucy is a true professional who knows what she is doing and works so hard to achieve the goals she set for us and delivered as promised. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a free phone consultation to discuss your dog and our training programs to discover the best approach for you and your dog. An in-person evaluation isn't required to get started but absolutely is an option! Once we hone in on what program is best (private lessons, a board and train, or group classes), the training journey begins!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our founder, Joey, brings 30 years of experience training both dogs and exotic animals, and holds an Animal Behavior degree, and titles in dog sport competitions. Our team of trainers are highly experienced, certified, AKC CGC evaluators, and dedicated to unlocking your dog’s full potential
