I’m a New York City-based singer, actor, and musician with a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from Brooklyn College Conservatory of Music and a Bachelor of Music from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. As a performer, I’ve appeared at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, 54 Below, and in the acclaimed immersive Off-Broadway production of Into the Woods. Most recently, I performed as Lead Guitar and Vocals aboard MSC Seascape with The Midnight Riders. As a teacher, I believe results speak louder than résumés. My students have been accepted into some of the top performing arts schools across the country, earned leading roles in school and community productions, developed stronger and healthier voices, and built the confidence to perform at a higher level. I’ve helped aspiring musicians grow from complete beginners into confident performers, while coaching more experienced artists into becoming working regional musicians and stronger live performers. He's got great gear mind you (and he can geek out with the best of them), and one of the best studio atmospheres at the Monastery (it feels so good you don't want to leave). But more importantly, Ric knows the signal chain really well. That everything starts with the best performance, then instruments, then equipment. One classic Ric moment was when I asked him what he did to to a certain compressor that made the guitar part sound so rad and he replied, "I don't know... I just turned knobs until it sounded good." He's a wizard with the knobs and he'll make you sound really good. You can trust Ric with your vision. I highly recommend paying him a visit and hearing his passion for music."See more
