- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Mold Remediation Process: When starting a mold remediation job with a new customer, the first step is an initial consultation to understand their concerns and schedule a professional on-site inspection. During the inspection, we assess the extent of the mold issue and identify potential sources of moisture contributing to the problem. If necessary, mold testing is conducted to determine the type and concentration of mold present. Once the results are reviewed, we provide a detailed assessment and remediation plan, including the scope of work and estimated costs. After discussing the plan and signing the contract, we proceed with the remediation, which involves containment, safe mold removal, cleaning, and prevention strategies. We ensure every step prioritizes the health and safety of the customer while addressing the root cause to prevent recurrence. Water Damage Restoration Process: For water damage restoration, urgency is key. When a customer calls, we quickly gather information about the situation and dispatch a team to the site for immediate assessment. Upon arrival, we evaluate the extent of the damage and take emergency measures to stop further water intrusion, such as shutting off water sources or beginning water extraction. Simultaneously, we document the damage with photos and measurements for insurance purposes. We then discuss the restoration plan with the customer, often working directly with their insurance company to ensure a seamless process. After the contract is signed, we begin drying and dehumidification, followed by structural repairs and sanitization. Throughout the process, we prioritize rapid response to minimize damage and restore the property to its pre-loss condition as efficiently as possible.
