Such a pleasure !!! He installed 2 interior doors for me, and even picked them up - at a great price. The door frames were a mess but the doors work perfectly. Definitely could not have managed it myself given how terrible my door frames are so I really appreciated the help! It’s such a relief to finally have doors that work.

Riaz is a miracle worker. He managed to fix an old door in our apartment that wouldn't close because it had been painted over multiple times over the last 90 years. He removed the door, stripped off the old paint, re-installed the door and now it works perfectly. Riaz also fixed two other pre-war doors that had problems latching. Look no further. He's a real pro (and a nice guy to boot).

We used CALBA to install a new louvered door for our closet and they were fantastic. They picked up the door at Home Depot for us and cut it to size, arrived on time, were polite, cleaned up after they were done working, and the final result with the door was wonderful. Alan and his team are simply amazing. We had to repair our bedroom door that fell off about a year ago. I have no knowledge of repairing/installation of the door. I decided to leave it up to the experts. I am very glad I did. When I contacted Alan in the beginning, he was very responsive via Thumbtack messages. He is open-minded and communicates thoroughly with you. The whole project was completed within 2 days, which I am very impressed. The first day to measure the space of the door, and the second day to install the door. He promised he will be arriving at 11 AM but he arrived 30 minutes early and was on stand-by near my apartment until I was ready. As soon as he arrived on-site, he started on the project to install the door properly. His work quality is superb and professional as he brings an alternate option for door lock for us to choose. Exremely professional and prompt. We had a huge (floor to ceiling) glass sliding door that needed repair. The original installer/contractor/builder said they couldn't do it. I am beyond impressed. I originally hired someone though Angies list who took over a week to try and repair this door only to do a bad job.
Marco came in one day to repair the pocket door and made it look brand new.

responsive, friendly and knew exactly what he was doing...I needed my door to be sanded, etc as since we put in new floors that back end of door was scratching the new floors. Very few can or woudl do this work due to the BS building politics and NYC condo requirements but Omar is licensed and insured and will use him on upcoming projects.
