FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I give you a quote immediately if the description of work is adequate and set up a time to get it done, as fast as same day in many cases.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to treat every customer as how I would like to be treated when hiring labor for my own house. I ask for details if necessary and give a quote for simple tasks and try and visit as soon as I can for estimates on larger projects. Hourly rates lead to ambiguity of final cost in my opinion and I don't like surprises when it pertains to the cost of a job.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked under master carpenters and electricians when in the contracting industry. I have a B. S. in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute that comes in handy for many jobs I do.
