Tim and Josh tackled a bathroom renovation with professionalism. They also offered quality work at a good value.

Timothy and his crew were great. They worked tirelessly and offered great suggestions for my landscaping project. Their cleanup afterward was very thorough.

Buyer beware of this soft-spoken con-artist. We have had a terrible experience with him. The most important things to know: he is not competent, he lies about his skill set and he makes excuses over and over and over while he's depositing your check. When you finally have to fire him for not getting the job done or screwing it up (or both, in our case) he takes no offense to it and just moves on. Trust your gut on this guy (we didn't). When you wonder why he's working jobs in towns far away when there's so much work in Syracuse for competent contractors and handymen... RUN, don't walk the other direction from this guy.

Timothy Kimball's reply
Annie, I apologize you were not happy. Your personal project was completed exactly how it was described to me and you originally left a 4 star review for it. You wanted me to build something that had to be built very specifically off site and then delivered, which I did do successfully. The screen got a minuscule hole in it, which I replaced, and the frame got a little dirty, which I repainted again. I also had to make adjustments to the frame as your opening for this screen was not nearly square. All of these problems should be expected when building off site and I went above and beyond to get it in and functioning. It also looks and functions much better than the previous one you had there as the old one was rotting and falling apart. As far as Toms project, he wanted things that simply could not be done, such as moving a plug with old wiring in it and expected me to rewire the entire breaker for free after adding on work that was not in the contract. He then agreed to moving one of the switches and leaving the one with the old wiring in place. I had a problem with thinking a wall was bearing the weight of a joist because of how it was oriented but after discussing it with a friend we determined the wall could come down, and we did that. The work that was completed was done correctly, which was a lot of work. I even moved the stuff out of his room and back in when originally we agreed that he would be the one to do that. It’s kind of funny how this works because the entire time Tom was saying he’s not going to be nickled and dimed but he was trying to do that with me the entire time by adding on work and even trying to knock $2,000 off the agreed price which was already a great price. The neighbors even warned us and asked us how we are working with Tom and told us about the encounters they faced with him. Also, I did not just walk away. I tried to complete the job after Tom wanted to stop and he said he would let me know and I heard nothing back. Even now I would come back and finish the job. Not to mention, on top of all of this, Tom switched the original plans. He went from switching out the light fixtures to moving them and adding one, he changed the tile plan and then changed the bathtub niche plan after I framed it how he originally wanted it forcing me to completely reframe it. To this day he still doesn’t have exactly what he wants done on paper, including a vanity. He should have had that all in place before we started. I was at Home Depot with him daily making sure he had the right materials and even spending hours there with him the first day because he got the wrong bathtub door. Again, I apologize you and Tom weren’t happy, but I did what we agreed on and then went above and beyond that to get the job done. And again I would still finish the bathroom job, if that’s something Tom would like to discuss he can contact me.
