"I recently used Jose (JMORTAYA) company for a drywall repair in my home and I am extremely satisfied with the results. I hired this pro to fix a small hole in drywall behind a stove. When he was late, we called him to see if he was still coming. He answered the call and said he wasn't coming because he "had another thing" and needed to call back later because he was driving. A week later he explained in a Thumbtack message that he had been involved in a car accident and then forgot to call back. Perhaps there was a misunderstanding during the first call due to a language barrier. I can't speak to his work quality, but he did later apologize several times for not following up. I would give him another chance.
