FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common types of jobs I do for my clients are photo repair and restoration, flyer design, page layout, photo manipulation, business cards, invitations, postcards, web banners, and much more.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
A client approached me with a request to repair a photo of his Mother. I believe it might have been the only recent one he had. I am not sure if his Mother had passed on or not. I try not to ask too many personal questions. The original photo was in color and was taped to cover a few rips. He asked how much I would charge to restore it, and I quoted him $25.00 which also included 1 8x10, and 2 5x7 of the restored image. He agreed, and I began the job of restoring it. Though it took me almost a month, I really put my all into the job. While restoring the photo, I developed a connection to it. Well, not to go on and on. I finished the photo, made the prints and gave them to the client along with his original. When he first saw the restored photo, he didn't say a word. I thought to myself, he doesn't like it. I then saw a tear rolling down his cheek. He looked at me and said "I can not believe how good this came out. It is almost like the picture was just taken." In general, the real reason why I am particularly proud of this job is because how I made an influence on someone's day.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The advice I have is that I enjoy the work I do, and that for the every day person needing that invitation, flyer, wedding program, that old photo restored, I will provide them the attention and produce a quality piece without the customer having to worry about outrageous prices.
