Introduction
Hello, My Name is Stephanie Knox and I am the owner and director of Jete Dance Studio. I am a dance instructor and performing artist. I have over 15 years teaching dance from ages 18 months through adults. I teach almost everything, from ballet, point, contemporary, modern, jazz, strengthening and stretching, and salsa. I have also performed professionally. As well as teaching at my business, I teach children and adults privately in the studio or at their home. I can help students with dance showcases, choreography for audition routines, or privates geared on personal goals. I am very flexible to a persons needs and what they are looking to accomplish.
I have a true love for dance and sharing that with others. I enjoy teaching children and adults. I love encouraging my students and seeing their progress. I believe in helping each student to their full potential and accomplishing their goals. I truly enjoy watching students learn, improve, and enjoy dancing.

Love Jete and Ms.Stephanie ! My 3 year old attends her salsa/ creative movement class, after trying out 2 diff dance schools in the area and my daughter just not feeling comfortable detaching even though she loves dance Ms.Stephanie understood her situation and worked with us to make my daughter feel at ease and comfortable at the dance studio, while still keeping her engaged in dance ! Jete was a perfect fit for us! Beautiful studio, professional instructors -teaching the girls structure and a wonderful intro to dance technique- and the salsa for toddlers is just so adorable ! A great family community environment ! Bonus, they have a performance at the end of the year !!!

I am so delighted that there is a place for adults to learn salsa dancing right here in Port Chester! Stephanie and Angel are incredible dancers and wonderful instructors-- they are so patient and so much fun! There are also lots of classes for young dancers who always look like they are having a great time! Dancing makes me happy!
