Hired on Thumbtack

Chris and Richie transformed our creepy closet into a beautiful mudroom. We just closed on our house and the closet in question had a crawlspace that none of us loved to open the door and look at it just creeped us out. I looked on Thumbtack and one of the first things I saw was Chris’s finished work of a self standing mudroom. I messaged him and asked him if he could build that into our creepy closet. He said he would come take a look at his earliest convenience after taking a look at that within a week and a half we now have a fantastic mudroom closet instead of a creepy closet, it is beautiful as well as functional we can’t thank Chris and Richie enough. And we highly recommend them they work fast and they do great work.

Christopher built this beautiful custom entry way bench to to the exact measurements and pictures I had shared and requested. I had it built to hide one area of my basement that isn’t finished and it completely transforms the area.

chris sweeney is by far the best experience I've had with letting someone come to work on my home. Living in nyc i have way too many clothes and way too little space, I have been living out of boxes for years dreaming of one day having a walk in closet. someone recommended chris to me. I didn't think a carpenter would be who you go to to create my dream carrie bradshaw closet, but I was wrong. first of all as a single woman I am often afraid of bringing a man into my space, chris had a disarmingly kind and trust worthy energy the moment he arrived. I explained my organization dilemma and within moments he had several ideas for me, he was clear and knowledgeable while also being very open to collaboration (no mansplaining what so ever). he built my small second bedroom into an entire walk in closet in the matter of two days ( could have been shorter had I had all the materials) he made it sturdy, organized and actually beautiful in a matter of hours of work! It has already changed the quality of my life immensely, I truly could not recommend chris more!

Ordinarily, we begin working with a new customer once they have completed architectural plans. We will walk the house with the homeowner to discuss everything they are looking for. We will bring specialists from the various trades on a follow up visit. We are happy to work on pricing, and any proposed changes from the plan.

Edgewood has built more houses than any of us remember, certainly in the hundreds.
