- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I always price my jobs as reasonable as possible! One of my tools is Homewyse. website/app that helps you and I to understand local pricing for all sorts of Installations and or maintenance costs. I am not the cheapest by any means but clearly not the most expensive either! I need to be able to make sure my customers are satisfied as the job comes to its conclusion.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Really, I treat everyone the same, With respect and with understanding! I will explain the process of the job at hand to the best of my ability. Payment schedule- Usually it will be payments in 3rds. 1/3 of total price as deposit. 2nd 1/3 due as work begins or when materials are dropped off on property. Sometimes I will purchase materials and begin work in my shop. 3rd payment of 1/3 is due upon completion of said job! For your protection never pay the last payment until you are totally happy or have a resolution with your contractor!!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
40 years of working in this business!! I've worked for some great carpenters that taught me valuable skills! I've been blessed to have worked for amazing craftsmen! Thus the quality over speed!!
