I hired Zeuris Marquez, Fashion Solutions NYC to alter a king size duvet cover and shams to queen size. A gift to my wife, I had ordered the king size by mistake; the queen size iteration of the pattern she loved was no longer available. This was an unusual undertaking. Zeuris and company did a splendid job to perfection. My wife is ever so happy.

She tried to make a prom dress I designed and showed her a few inspiration photos but she didn’t make it right. Not even remotely close. Could’ve just told me she couldn’t do it but instead money was wasted. She also blamed me for the fabric choice being the issue but as a seamstress she should’ve told me when I got it that it wouldn’t be good. My experience wasn’t good when it came to the dress but she’s good at making basic outfits. My fault for thinking she could do it and her fault for not saying no.

Zeuris was very nice and responsive. It would have been good to have a better overall plan in terms of timing and my daughter was not totally satisfied in the end but Zeuris’s efforts were appreciated and I feel lucky to have found her.

We first make an appointment with the client to know the details of the project, then we send an estimate and a timeline of the project. We make three revisions to the pattern and the samples.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from fashion design, fashion product development, Fashion Marketing, and also took special courses in pattern making and draping at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York.
