Douglas M. says, "Anthony responded in ‘Lightning fast” order.
“How soon do you need me?” “I can be there within an hour.”
I arrived home and found him already working on six holes that had to be deepened for the installation of a simple children’s playhouse/swing set. I had assembled it, and was attempting to sink
3 1/2 X 3 1/2 poles into poured concrete, when I found there was a buried, massive, flat piece of granite bedrock that covered the entire area I was working on. I was only able to get down 5”. I needed to get deeper.
So the installation was deemed impossible. No surprise swing set for my 3yr old granddaughter. I was incredibly disappointed.
Then I found Anthony. He soon knew his jackhammer would not break through this type of rock in its position. But he deepened 2 holes as far as they would go, using his manual, vertical ‘maul.’ - very carefully and effectively. But the rock in other holes were as hard as a huge slab of 20’ X 20’ diamond.
So he suggested his diamond-bladed, gas-powered saw to excavate - by cross cuts - slice by slice, down to an acceptable depth.
He committed to be back the next day at 3:30 to 4:00. But…the next day I woke to whirring power tool sounds outside my window. It was Anthony. 1st thing in the morning. I was having coffee and reading the paper.
And he did it. Beautifully. It took real skill and knowledge of his craft. This required innovation, imagination and optimism.
Anthony has a great can-do nature. I can say with confidence that you will find others who may say “we can’t do that.”
But Anthony may say “I’m sure I can do that” and he will. He’s a creative thinker, which is essential to find ‘a better way.’
He’s honest and will not BS you.
I can only imagine how well he accomplishes all the other types of landscaping projects in his repertoire.
This was a special situation. He came to the rescue.
Thank you Anthony.
