Introduction
My imagery is characterized by a brightness and overall natural appearance, making it an ideal fit for magazine features and high quality advertisements. Much of the additional time and effort I put into my imagery after it has been captured is invisible because it can take much more work to make an image look as if you're stepping right into the scene as it naturally was- than it can take to make it look over-produced or unrealistic. I'm constantly in awe of how designers and architects create spaces that look and feel amazing, no matter what they're given to work with. They inspire me to create better imagery every day.

Anne was an absolute pleasure to work with. She showed up to both of our appointment right on time and was extremely respectful of my apartment. The photos came out better than I could have imagined. She did a great job capturing the best attributes of the unit and making the space look as large as possible. I highly recommend Anne!

Anne was wonderful to work with. From the second we were connected she was extremely friendly, responsive and accommodating. She showed up on time, with great energy and took wonderful pictures of my apartment-- I absolutely loved how they came out!!

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

How do you want your work to be portrayed? Look at the STYLE of the images before hiring. Are the photographer's photoshop choices getting in the way of what you're viewing or is the work being carefully considered and featured appropriately for the context of the image? Do you want the photographer to leave their visual mark on your work, or do you want your work to be the feature of the image?

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Most of our work happens before and after we capture the image on site. Thinking about the best lighting and angles for a space, deciding what perspectives or time of day will be most flattering, and knowing what will produce the best result all happen far before a camera shutter is triggered. What used to be taken care of by a photo lab is now done digitally on computers and to such fine detail that we will often spend 2-4 hours behind the computer for every 1 hour we spend behind the camera. It's that extra developing time that creates a higher quality image than what can simply be produced in camera.
